Bradley, and his cousins Cooper and Miriam went to EFY together at BYU the first week of August. They all had fabulous times and are already making plans for next summer. The Hydes stayed for a couple of days after EFY and we had so much chatting with them; such great kids!!
Loved swimming at Oakridge!!
We got season passes to Lagoon this year for our family. I have loved taking the kids. We usually only go for 1-3 hours and it's perfect! Here are pics from the entire summer - rides and Lagoon-a-beach. My favorite memories were watching Matt and the kids ride Rattlesnake Rapids over and over and over again (once was enough for me!) reading in the shade while the kids played on the water slides, and also seeing Will and Matt joke and laugh with one another while eating ice cream. During that moment, Will remarked, "We're really good buddies, aren't we Dad..."
The day after Matt's birthday he celebrated by hiking with Bradley and a work buddy. They hiked to the top of Mount Olympus. It was intense and they loved it!
Bear Lake with the Turners - the BEST vacation we've had in a while; thank you Turner clan! We all want to go escape there again as soon as possible - it was so much fun/adventurous/relaxing! This was the perfect way to end the summer!!
Minnetonka Cave - All the kids did great on this fun hike! Lauren was in charge of the camera and when I downloaded the photos I found the image of me and Will hugging in the corner of a random photo she'd snapped. I cropped it because it quickly became my favorite of the bunch... I sure love those four amazing kiddos.
Bear Lake "Old Ephriam" Pizza.
Early morning workouts with Biff... gorgeous view!!
Ahhh, the lazy days of the lake. I could spend my life on the beach. (The picture of Lauren standing is of her "hypnotizing" the Turner girls, lol.)
Dinner, games and movies with the Turners at night were a highlight of the trip, as were the raspberry milkshakes - mmmm!
Please don't end summer... this was one of my favorite years with you!!!
We went ot Minnetonka cave this year too, isn't just a cute little cave.:) You all looked like you were haveing WAY too much fun, did you rent a condo or does someones family have a cabin up there? I was struggling to read all of the text and see the pictures at the same time, our operating system is quite poor.;-)
ReplyDeleteThe picture of you hugging Willer was very sweet.:)
Yay for good times with fun people.:)
What fun end of summer activities. I REALLY want to have our family get together at Bear Lake. It would be so fun to rent a big cabin or something. The hard thing would be getting everyone to actually come.:( Maybe someday. Looks like you had a great time!
