This is going to be a quick recap. I have got to start staying on top of my memories or I'm going to fall behind - ack!
Here are the highlights of November.
More hockey...
Lauren had a field trip to a historical home owned by some artists that talked to us about their work.
Thanksgiving Weekend: We spent the holiday in Vegas for a hockey tournament that Matt was coaching. We went on this gorgeous hike:
We met up with the Sharp family the night before Thanksgiving. These pictures show how crazy, fun our night was. Love that cute sister and her adorable family!!
The morning of Thanksgiving, our kids (mostly Bradley) made a list of what they're thankful for and decorated the condo with it.
We had a yummy (mostly store made) Thanksgiving lunch:
After lunch, Matt coached his first game. Afterwards, we went to the Excalibur to play games, have a medieval Thanksgiving meal, and watch a joust.
Throughout the rest of the weekend we did lots of puzzles and lounging.
We went to Max Brenner's for dinner/dessert. We ate a late lunch so this was our dinner - gotta love vacation eating. Everyone got to choose their own dessert and oooh wowie, it was sugar overload. The picture of the menu below is the kids' menu… the adult one was just as decadent.
And we found some fun parks and things to do while hockey wasn't happening.

ReplyDeleteI am glad that the boys are starting to enjoy their hockey games...it is hard to chase the kids to practices and games when they complain and whine.:)

Wow, look at all the fun stuff you guys have been up too. I'm so glad we were able to see you guys even if it was just for a little bit. Cute pics of your boys in their hockey gear. Fun family.
