School started - Bradley is a sophomore in high school and the "end" is coming sooner than I'd like. Matt sent me this cartoon because he knows that's exactly how I'll feel...
Owen is in first grade and his teacher is Mrs. Redd.

Will is in 4th grade and his teacher is Mrs. Pace.
We've got an "Eagles" hockey player living with us this school year. I'll have to carve out some time to explain how it all came about but we lucked out with this great guy (Will and Owen are in awe that he never gets in fights with anyone, lol). His name is Logan Alam, he's a junior in high school and he's from Rock Springs, Wyoming. Logan and Lauren officially started school the day after the other kids. Logan is at Davis with B and Lola is in 8th grade and went to Vanguard co-op for her first day of the school year.
We got to see Trevor Lewis from the LA Kings and the Stanley cup up close and personal at the Murray Fire Dept. Holy cow, that trophy is so cool!
Diving in the creek for all the lost pucks... Bradley, Logan, and their friend Jake (not pictured below but he's the guy in the red shirt in the Stanley Cup pics). Those three are a hoot.
The night before school started Owen was demonstrating his "spider climb" to Logan and his Dad. He jumped/fell from the doorway and hurt his foot. It was a hard fall and we were worried that he'd broken something but the next day he seemed just fine. However, after a couple of weeks we noticed that he limped every once in a while; especially during soccer. We took him in for x-rays just in case. All is good, but it was nice to know for sure.
Lauren's homeschool is going well. We joined an online program called MyTech High that we love, she's still a part of Vanguard, and she's also joined homeschool theatre and chemistry groups.
I don't know why B & I took this selfie, but I totally have a crush on this kiddo. He's so fun to be with. I also love how Owen asks me to take a picture of EVERYTHING, lol.
I took the kids to Get Air trampoline park on a rainy day. Matt and the older boys were at hockey all day and cabin fever was settling in the house - we were all ornery. I hollered for them to either head to time out or throw on some shoes for an adventure and of course they all chose the latter. We hustled to the gym to work out our energy; best decision ever!
